In advance of Israel’s election day, RKYHS classes learned about all the parties involved in the election, where they stand on the main issues, as well as Israel’s process for the formation of a government, including a discussion of what took place after April’s election. On election day, a polling station was set up for students to vote. Polls were kept open during Back to School night for parents to vote. Likud won by a strong majority in the high school election. Students will be building coalitions in their classes as well in the upcoming sessions.
