Approximately 20 RKYHS students attended the “Ambassadors Against BDS” program at the United Nations last week. Over 2000 people attended this conference, and the theme was “Build Bridges Not Boycotts.” The students were able to learn firsthand about the dangers of BDS and how BDS is the 21st century incarnation of anti-Semitism. Students were fortunate to hear from inspiring featured speakers including Ambassador Danny Dannon and Ambassador Nikki Haley, as well as Jewish Agency Chairman Natan Sharansky. Breakout sessions included “Empowering Students to Combat BDS” and “Digital Warfare: Countering BDS on Social Media.”
