RKYHS held its annual Theme Day learning program. Theme Day promotes students’ critical thinking, challenges their assumptions and encourages them to grapple with contentious and relevant issues that shape our culture and impact our national and political discourse.
This year’s Theme Day topic was “Misinformation and Conspiracies.” Students participated in four sessions, led by faculty, that focused on misinformation and conspiracies through the lenses of literature, psychology, history and Jewish history. Students then had the opportunity to discuss their perspectives, share insights and exchange ideas with their peers. Theme Day further encourages RKYHS students to dismiss single-dimensional, linear thinking and inspires them to see complex problems through the prism of varied and dialectical views and think critically.
