The RKYHS weekly SEED speaker program welcomed the Honorable Jason Greenblatt. Greenblatt most recently served as the assistant to the president and the White House special envoy to the Middle East. In his special envoy role, he served as one of the chief architects of the “Peace to Prosperity” plan between Israel and the Palestinians and between Israel and its Arab neighbors. Greenblatt discussed his time at the White House and how he witnessed the strengthening of the US-Israel relationship. He gave an overview of the “Peace to Prosperity” vision and the challenges faced in implementing its vision. Greenblatt fielded questions from the students on the future of the process and offered firsthand accounts of his interactions with Arab countries and the constantly developing relationship with Arab neighbors. He impressed upon the students that they and their parents must be active in Israel advocacy, AIPAC, NORPAC or anything they can do to increase the US-Israel relationship. He encouraged them to use their voices and actions since they are the next generation of leaders and they can bring about great change.
