Rosenbaum Yeshiva of North Jersey will hold its 78th Annual Dinner on Sunday, January 17th, at Congregation Keter Torah in Teaneck. Rachel and Azi Mandel are Guests of Honor, and Morah Miriam Levy will receive the Educator of the Year Award.
Rachel and Azi Mandel, Guests of Honor, are true pillars of RYNJ leadership, proud ambassadors for our yeshiva as well as unwavering and generous benefactors. Both Rachel and Azi have served in countless leadership roles and have been an integral part of the growth and success of our yeshiva. Azi joined the board of directors in 2008 and oversaw the construction of the new lower school building. He served as vice president of development from 2010-2011 and began his three-year term as president in 2012. Professionally, Azi is a managing member at Treetop Development. Rachel chaired RYNJ’s dinner journal for the 2009 and 2010 annual dinners and has served on the PTA board since 2008. Rachel and Azi are the proud parents of Coby, a 7th grader; Arielle, a 6th grader; Kayla, a 3rd grader; and A.J., a 1st grader.
In her 25 years at RYNJ, Educator of the Year Morah Miriam Levy has distinguished herself with her great energy and creativity and her true love of each individual child. Her passion for Torah education and genuine care and concern for all of her students are what have made her so beloved to her students, their parents and the RYNJ faculty. Morah Miriam and her husband, Rabbi Yosef Levy, are the proud parents of Alex, Sarah ‘95, Nachman ‘00, Moshe ‘02 and Yocheved Spetner, Yehuda ‘05 and Avigayil, Fradel, Avraham Dovid ‘12, and Aharon ‘15.
