This week, we will be making baked apples since apples are a symbol for Rosh Hashanah. Here are the ingredients:
5-6 medium apples (like honey crisp or McIntosh)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon coconut oil or a few sprays of coconut oil
⅔ cup cinnamon sugar
¼ cup maple syrup
Mix apples with the rest of the ingredients. Bake in the oven at 350 F for
40-50 minutes until soft.
