RPRY was filled with pride as students celebrated Yom Ha’Atzmaut! The day started off with a beautiful school-wide Hallel at Ohr Torah featuring Rabbi Ribalt and Avi Maza Acapella singers. Community members, parents and Mayor Elsie Foster then joined students for the Yom Ha’Atzmaut parade. Throughout the day students had fun programming organized by bnot sherut as the white team faced off against the blue team to celebrate the State of Israel. Upper elementary and middle school students were also honored to hear from a lone soldier and proud RPRY alumnus who is currently in מלואים, who described his experiences keeping מצוות and learning Torah while serving כלל ישראל.
