In Morah Judy’s class, the children are busy preparing for Chanukah. They are learning all about the chanukiyah and the brachot to say each night. They are also learning the concepts of left and right: the candles are added starting from the right, but are lit beginning with the left, the newest candle. Additionally, they have begun creating their own beautiful chanukiyot. The children enjoyed selecting lovely tiles to decorate their chanukiyot, and are eagerly awaiting the time to light them.
