On April 15, at 4:00 a.m., EST, Elana Rosenblatt, graduate of Rabbi Pesach Raymon Yeshiva Class of 2017, competed in the Chidon HaTanach Olami, the International Bible Competition. It is incredibly impressive that she made it to that level of the competition, which is held annually in Jerusalem. This year, she and the other international students participated virtually.
The evening before the competition, Rosenblatt emailed Rabbi Daniel Loew, RPRY’s head of school, expressing her hakarat hatov to RPRY. In her email she stated, “Throughout my studying and years of competing, I have truly felt that my RPRY education has been an invaluable asset. I still remember and use the songs I learned from my teachers. I owe my RPRY teachers so much hakarat hatov.” The school is extremely proud of Rosenblatt and loved hearing how her RPRY education played a vital role in this unbelievable achievement!
Elana came in second place for non-Israelis (fifth place for all)! Kol hakavod!
