Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

The fifth grade boys’ STEM class was challenged to build the tallest free-standing structure they could. The boys were given a set of random supplies, including chopsticks, pipe cleaners and playdough. To complete the challenge, they needed creativity, problem-solving skills, and—most importantly—teamwork. If their structure became unsteady or fell, they had to adapt and find a solution. The boys did a great job!
