On Purim day, the students at Rabbi Pesach Raymon Yeshiva celebrated the 100th day of school! To honor this exciting day, the first grade students completed several fun inquiry projects all about the number 100. They predicted how much water was in 100 drops, hopped 100 times and measured 100 steps from their classroom. The students also used math manipulatives to help them count to 100 by ones, twos, fives and tens.
The kindergarten students came to school dressed up like they were 100 years old! They also brought in 100 pennies, chocolate chips, etc. and practiced counting by tens.
