RPRY Celebrates Yom Yerushalayim

The students at Rabbi Pesach Raymon Yeshiva had an amazing time celebrating Yom Yerushalayim! To help bring Yerushalayim closer to us and our hearts, each class was given a different gate of Yerushalayim to study and learn about. Combining their creativity and research, the students decorated their classroom doors, not only to look like their assigned gate, but to share important and interesting facts about them. Throughout the day, each class got to take a tour of the gates of Yerushalayim, visiting each classroom door. The students were amazed by the beauty of each door while also learning about the importance of each of Yerushalayim’s gates.

The children in RPRY’s early childhood program created their very own Kotel! Leading up to Yom Yerushalayim, each child decorated their own stone, which was then compiled to become a beautiful Kotel wall. On Yom Yerushalayim, the children got to visit their beautiful Kotel, daven, sing and dance in front of it and insert their notes into the wall, full of their hopes and dreams, to Hashem. May we all be in Yerushalayim soon!
