RPRY Gets Third Straight Win

Following two shut out wins, RPRY Girls Hockey notched their third consecutive win with a 5-3 victory against Ramaz in their last regular season home game. The Panthers offensive attack was led by captain Ariella Wallenstein, scoring four goals, and supported with one goal by Bailey Halpern. The team was backstopped in goal by Captain Sophia Tawil, who had 36 saves in the game; following an impressive streak by the eighth grade veteran goalie of seven consecutive shut-out periods through three games, (including the team’s two prior shutout wins). The Panthers victory snapped a Ramaz winning streak going back to last season. RPRY exhibited a team-wide effort in achieving this win; with consistent pressure on Ramaz from the start of the game, the Panthers were aided by swarming defense by Maya Grunstein and Hailey Kramer, and offensive pressure from Molly Shmuel and others.
