Rabbi Pesach Raymon Yeshiva (RPRY) created their first girls soccer team in the spring of 2022 thanks to the dedication of Coach Felix Urman. He has made it a priority from the beginning to not only build the players’ individual skills but also their teamwork through activities outside of practice such as movie nights and hikes.
During the recent Passover break, he met with the players in the local park for skill building and then took them on a fun outing to a bowling alley for some team bonding time. Coincidentally, the Rutgers Women’s soccer team arrived at the same bowling alley for the very same reason! The Rutgers players offered encouragement and inspiration to the RPRY team as they head into the playoffs. The RPRY Panthers finished the regular season first in their division after winning their first seven games in a row.
