RPRY seventh grade girls joined over 800 girls from around the state of New Jersey at Princeton’s Plasma Physics Laboratory for a galvanizing day of women in science. The girls had the opportunity to visit exhibits about different real-world applications of science across multiple fields with women discussing their careers. They delved into the history of Marie Curie as a pioneering woman scientist and they listened to a keynote address from a young woman biologist about her current scientific research, including work with CRISPR. It was an electrifying day!
