In Rabbi Miodownik’s Torah Shebaal Peh class at Rabbi Pesach Raymon Yeshiva, the sixth grade girls finished learning the 39 melachot, part of their hilchot Shabbat curriculum. To celebrate this exciting milestone, the class took a trip around town to see the eruv, highlighting the melacha of hotza’ah (carrying). They were able to review the halachot in addition to seeing the intricacies of the eruv firsthand.
