In an innovative move to empower students, RTMA middle schoolers were positioned at the helm of JEC lower school fourth and fifth grade classrooms, recently, to present lessons on improving character. The initiative is the third segment of Marbles to Leadership, a leadership development guidance program for the sixth to eighth grades that was developed through the JEC guidance department, led by Dr. Akiva Perlman, JEC’s director of guidance, in conjunction with Rabbi Elchanan Erlanger, who is responsible for RTMA’s seventh grade guidance.

The middle school boys arrived dressed up in suits and ties for the occasion and the lower school students showed great respect and interest during the various presentations.
