Night Seder at the JEC’s Rav Teitz Mesivta Academy division commenced with record-breaking participation last week as over 85 talmidim joined for what turned out to be an evening of passionate Torah learning and exchange.
Rabbi Moishe Kramer, one of the RTMA faculty members responsible for organizing the weekly initiative, was overcome with excitement as he moved from table to table of students learning with intensity and joy.
“Remember that this is all voluntary,” said Rabbi Noach Sauber, assistant principal of the RTMA division. “These boys chose to participate and learn extra Torah. Tonight’s program was not mandatory.” From the looks on student’s faces and the inspiring din of kol Torah, it was clear that the RTMA student body is fully committed to limud Torah and enjoy it thoroughly as well. Students were treated to snacks and dinner to keep up their energy as they learned, and some even used technology to take notes and source references.
