Men, women, teens and children from across New Jersey converged at the Memorial Oval in Livingston on Sunday, May 17 for the 15th Annual Run for Rachel to benefit victims of domestic violence. There were 312 5K race finishers and 136 one mile fun run/walk finishers.
First place was awarded to Scott Isgett of Rockaway with a time of 18:44. The second-place finisher was Diana D’Achille of Denville at 18:52. The third-place finisher was Derek Lewandowski of Ridgefield Park with a time of 19:02.
The Run for Rachel raises funds to benefit the Rachel Coalition, which wishes to thank all the sponsors of this event.

The Rachel Coalition is a division of Jewish Family Service of MetroWest and a partnership of nine northern New Jersey organizations working together to respond to domestic violence. Nonsectarian services include a 24-hour crisis response line (973-740-1233), access to safe housing, counseling, support groups, legal and medical assistance, outreach and education programs.
