Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center was named one of Healthgrades America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Pulmonary Care™ for two consecutive years—the only hospital in New Jersey to receive this recognition two years. It was also named one of Healthgrades America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Cardiac Care ™ for seven years in a row, one of Healthgrades America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Gastrointestinal Care™ in 2023, and one of Healthgrades America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Gastrointestinal Surgery™ for three consecutive years.
Additionally, Community Medical Center, Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital were recognized among the top 5 % of hospitals in the nation across multiple areas, including bariatrics, cardiac, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, critical care, and surgical care. Community Medical Center is the only hospital in New Jersey to earn a Surgical Care Excellence Award in 2023. Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset was recognized among the top 10 % of hospitals in the nation in cardiac and gastrointestinal care.
