The RYNJ MSG girls showed their support on Sharsheret Pink Day. They wore pink clothing, raised money through a pink and white cookie sale and attended a presentation by their MSG guidance counselor, whose mother is a breast cancer survivor and is an active member of the Sharsheret board. The girls learned all about this incredible organization, and discussed healthy habits that they can incorporate into their own daily lives.
The seventh grade boys had the opportunity to visit the YU Seforim Sale. They were amazed to see the expansiveness of Jewish literature, and were able to each choose books that interested them to bring home. Their dedicated rebbeim helped them shop and guided them through making their selections.
Additionally, RYNJ introduced Project ח.י.ל., a school-wide program that encourages each student to make a קבלה for the merit of our chayalim and the release of the hostages still held in Gaza. Every two weeks, students will receive a card where they will write their קבלה. The cards will then be collected and placed on a new display near the main entrance. The first round began this week, and the bulletin board is beginning to fill up. The students are so proud to name and begin their new challenges. May these countless acts of chesed will contribute to the release of the hostages and ultimately lead to victory for the IDF on the battlefield.
