Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

Yom HaShoah at RYNJ was meaningful and educational. After an inspiring Shacharis, students in grades four through eight attended different presentations that focused on personal experiences during the Holocaust. Fifth grade rebbe Rabbi Abish, in his powerful storytelling style, shared the experiences of his mother and father, who both survived the Shoah, with the fourth and fifth grades. The middle schoolers attended a presentation entitled “Their Memory Still Shining,” which profiles six individuals and their stories. Narrated by the students themselves, they learned all about these heroic individuals and their incredible lives.
