This year’s RYNJ Lag B’Omer events were a real “hit”! The ECD yeladim made their own outdoor “bonfire” during music and movement class and even “roasted” marshmallows on sticks. All lower and middle schools students enjoyed the great outdoors and participated in activities coordinated by their Judaic Studies teachers at five different parks (Kenneth B. George Park, Memorial Park, Brookside Park, Van Saun County Park and Pascack Brook County Park). In addition, students were treated to ices and took part in special events including but not limited to a siyum at the bonfire and a Mishna Accomplished siyum.
