The annual RYNJ’s Bracha Bee Program kicked off with an assembly right before Tu B’shvat and is taking place all through February. Morah Deena Katz’s third grade class celebrated the Bracha Bee kickoff with a bracha party. Each girl was assigned a bracha rishona and had to bring in a special treat for that bracha. The girls arranged all the foods in the proper order of brachot, said the brachot loud and clear and with the proper kavana, and shouted “amen” to their friends’ brachot. It was a fun and meaningful way to begin our studies of brachot!
