The RYNJ ECD had a very exciting week observing how chicks hatch and grow. They first gathered as a division to welcome the incubator and took turns visiting the numbered eggs as they prepared to hatch. Each crack was exciting to behold as one chick and then the next emerged over the course of a few days. Finally, all of the chicks hatched and grew fluffier each day. The yeladim absolutely loved visiting the chicks, getting to hold them, and watching them walk around on the floor, interacting with each other. It was especially interesting to watch how they like to be in a cluster and enjoy being under the lights. They will be missed at RYNJ but the children wish them a wonderful time back at their farm!
