The RYNJ eighth grade has started an exciting new unit in STEAM, exploring the iconic works of pop art legend Roy Lichtenstein. Over the course of several weeks, students are working to create their own self-portraits in his signature comic book style. They began with a traditional self-portrait in ink, and then used paint and q-tips to fill in the background and their faces. They enjoyed the entire process from start to finish, and are very proud of their work!
