Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

What do you get when you mix 100 third and fourth grade boys, some shape building activities, and a few Chromebooks? Geometry STEM night, of course! RYNJ students, along with their parents and grandparents, had a blast this past Wednesday night. Between building shapes with toothpicks and playdough, and finding the area of a lego piece, a good time was had by all. At the end of the night, the winner of the grand prize was announced. Mazel tov to Eitan Gross from 4B1, who took home the winning prize of 563 LEGO candy bricks, after providing the closest estimate of 560! Every student received a foam LEGO brick that read: “Building Thinkers,” to remember the fantastic evening.
