What a spectacular day, RYNJ eighth graders had on their Philadelphia trip! It was a pleasure to experience some of what our nation’s birthplace has to offer, with the eighth grade girls. Each stop along the way, from the initial planning committees to overseeing all of the details on the trip, the girls exceeded expectations. They were driven by an interest and passion for leadership and growth. Their curiosity at the historical sites and museums that they visited was excellent; particularly at the National Constitution Center, The Liberty Bell, Franklin Square Park and The Franklin Institute. Throughout the day, no matter the venue, it was clear the girls demonstrated the importance of unity and kindness. Their midot were exemplary, their enthusiasm was amazing and they regarded everyone with warmth and respect. A few times throughout the day, people stopped us to find out where this fabulous group of young women were from. The proud answer was “RYNJ”! The eighth graders will long recall all the wonderful Philadelphia memories of bonding, learning and fun, and should look forward to the many exciting events still ahead from now through graduation!
