RYNJ’s second grade Parent-Child Math Night was a fun night for everyone. Students and parents were given the challenge to escape the “zoo” by completing math stations and solving clues. The parent-child teams played math games with cards and dominoes to show their skills at addition and subtraction. They also built tangram shapes and completed “don’t lift the pencil” challenges for spatial reasoning practice. Everyone had a roaring good time estimating the jelly bean jar and solving the final clue to escape the zoo!
