In chemistry class, eighth grade students are busy learning about atoms, positive protons, neutral neutrons and negative electrons. For some hands-on learning and bringing atoms to life, RYNJ students built 3-D models of each element, including the right number of each subatomic particle and the right electron configuration for each energy level!
