Parashas Vayera affords the opportunity for the students of RYNJ to learn about the middos of our forefathers and to emulate them in a very special way. This past week we had our annual “Tent Event.” A huge tent was erected in the main concourse that was reminiscent of Avraham and Sarah’s tent, open on all four sides and ready to welcome travelers from near and far. Students got a refreshing popsicle to cool off from the desert heat! The older classes welcomed the younger classes with wonderful activities, music, food, and fun. The grateful guests certainly enjoyed the hospitality of their gracious hosts.

The “Tent Event” fosters a wonderful feeling of achdut among the students of RYNJ, in addition to bringing an important parasha lesson to life in a meaningful, experiential way.
