On Asara B’tevet, RYNJ hosted a father and son learning experience for it junior high boys. It started with Shacharis, and it was a really inspiring davening. After that, all the boys went with their fathers to their classrooms. Rabbi Bauman, the Rebbi of Class 5/6B3, gave out a Chumash sheet for fathers to learn with their sons. The time that the boys spent with their fathers was a memorable learning experience.

After the learning session, the junior high boys returned to the beis medrash to hear a special speaker, Rabbi Ben Tzion Shafier, director of The Shmuz, who spoke about regular people who accomplished big things.

This special day will be remembered by both fathers and sons for a long time.
