This past week, over 160 RYNJ kids spaced out—in a good way. Class 5B3 created an interactive space museum at RYNJ, and hosted classes from kindergarten, third grade and fifth grade. At RYNJ Space Place, there were 18 hands-on, educational games and activities, such as a build-your-own-rocket station, a Mars memory game and a homemade telescope. All exhibits were created by the students for visiting students. Refreshments were provided for museum visitors and included Star Chips, Saturn Rings, Mars Magma and Galaxy Formula. The museum curators and all the visiting students agreed it was out of this world.
