RYNJ sixth and seventh graders tremendously enjoyed a Torah Comics Workshop with Andrew Galitzer, founder of Torah Comics. Andrew began by sharing the story of how he started Torah Comics, inspiring the students and showing them firsthand that if you are truly passionate about something, and don’t give up, success can be achieved. He then led each class in a fun and engaging Comic Book workshop, using the Purim story as the topic. The students learned all about comic illustration, specifically perspective, character drawing and story development. Each one brought home their finished comic to enjoy.
