The RYNJ Lady Jaguars began the season on a high note by defeating their first opponent, Shulamith of Brooklyn, with the final score of 47-10. The team showed incredible teamwork, great shooting and excellent movement on the court. You would never have known that it was their first game as a team. Every girl contributed to the victory.

The second game against HALB began at a slow pace but the RYNJ Jaguars were determined to pull away, and did so by ending the first half 21-6. Both teams continued to play hard but the Jaguars never let them come within ten points of their score. Once again incredible teamwork, beautiful passing and great defense were demonstrated.

With these elements, RYNJ Lady Jaguars beat every one of their opponents by at least fifteen points. They defeated B’nos Malka, 50-4, Barkai, 44-16, Bruriah 61-7 and most recently, YCQ, 42-21. Their coaches have taught them so much and they hope to continue their undefeated season and bring home the championship to RYNJ.
