The RYNJ yeladim of Morah Lisa and Morah Cindy’s K2 class completed a month long unit on animal habitats. The children learned about the grasslands, rainforests, oceans, forests, mountains, Arctic, Antarctic and more. Each child chose an animal, made a paper mache of their animal, created a habitat/diorama for their animal including food and water and wrote a habitat report. The children had so much fun playing with their animals during free play and building a zoo and vet in the block center.
