Selecting the best yeshiva for your child is a significant decision. RYNJ is known for its devotion to Torah scholarship, instilling middot tovot and academic excellence. RYNJ faculty nurtures each child’s neshama, fosters social development, and challenges each child to reach his or her potential and to support them in their growth to become bnai and bnot Torah. RYNJ students build a strong foundation for life’s journey through the school’s enriching program.
This past Sunday night RYNJ hosted its open house for prospective parents. Parents had the opportunity to meet the school’s rabbeim, morot, teachers and students and see firsthand the innovative and exciting things that are happening throughout the yeshiva. The program began with an enthusiastic speech by Rabbi Daniel Price, the head of school, stressing that RYNJ provides an environment that partners with parents to provide them with the support to make decisions that will reflect their current value system. Student speakers Atara Gamss and Shua Kopstick stole the show by describing their special memories of their elementary experience and what they have noticed about RYNJ students as they reflected and reminisced. Tamar Kahn, director of admissions, explained that during the interactive sessions parents would see the educators’ love of teaching each individual child regardless of grade level and topic. The interactive sessions provided a taste of being yeladim in RYNJ with the engaging faculty leading whole group lessons, group work, buddy work and center activities. The evening ended with a stop at the RYNJ Cafe where School is Sweet. For more information or to schedule a tour visit RYNJ.org/tour.
