RYNJ’s fourth grade students celebrated their research of the states in the United States with the annual State Fair! As the class learned about the different regions in the U.S., each student chose a state and learned all about the economy, landmarks and attractions, history and more. After writing a thorough multi-paragraph report, each student prepared a poster highlighting the features of his or her state. The students also put their sewing skills to the test as they created their own plushies to represent their state during STEAM class. After a fabulous welcoming presentation, RYNJ families explored the many states showcased using a “state passport” and learned so much in the process. Kol hakavod to the fourth graders for their hard work!
