The seventh grade girls of the Rosenbaum Yeshiva graced the stage last week with their production of Peter Pan. Their original, Hebrew version was presented three times on Tuesday, March 24. The talented actresses wowed the audiences with their stage presence and spoken Hebrew. They had prepared for two months learning their lines, designing and painting scenery, creating costumes and props and preparing video and musical accompaniment.
The students chose to designate all proceeds from their evening performance to Tomchei Shabbos; they were able to raise more than $1,000. This Monday, the seventh graders will visit the Hebrew Home in Riverdale, where they will perform the play for the residents.
