RYNJ first grade students created menorah masterpieces with the inspiration of Henri Matisse. Known as paper cut outs or gouaches découpés, RYNJ students began “drawing with scissors.” By maneuvering scissors through prepared sheets of paper the students cut out shapes and created beautiful collages in honor of Chanukah.
