In preparation for Chanukah, the yeladim of the RYNJ ECD enjoyed a visit from Drum Tales. After learning the story and songs of Chanukah, children were delighted to participate in this fabulous, interactive program, which took them on an imaginary journey to ancient Israel, the land of the mighty Maccabees. On their journey, they encountered many experiences, adventures and characters, which were all brought to life through various musical innovations. Through music and rhythm the yeladim experienced the exciting tale of mystery, miracles, triumph, joy and a single bottle of olive oil. Drum Tales not only reminded the children of the Maccabees’ triumphs in the battle, but also how they as individuals can overcome setbacks and challenges—and discover the full distance of their own potential.
