The first and second grade students at RYNJ were treated to an author visit on the last day of Chanukah. Ann Koffsky, who has written and illustrated over 30 books for children, read her latest book, “Kayla and Kugel’s Happy Hanukkah.” She demonstrated her technique for illustrating the main characters as all of the students followed along with their own art supplies. After the presentation, each class had a representative ask Koffsky a question regarding her life as an author and illustrator. What a wonderful Chanukah treat!
