RYNJ second grade students were treated to an inside look into one of the five senses: sight.
Eye doctor and RYNJ grandfather, Danny Klapper, spoke with the students and gave them a bird’s eye view of how the eye works. Dr. Klapper brought in a model of the eye and fascinated students when he discussed optical illusions. Each pupil received a pen light flashlight so they could look at their fellow students’ pupils.
Thank you Dr. Klapper, for a program that was “out-a-sight” and right on target. The kids were so happy to have you teach them and there is no question that you hit the bullseye!
