RYNJ sixth grade boys researched the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. They discussed the importance of freedom, equality and standing up for your beliefs and people who are treated wrongly. While MLK spent his life devoted to ending segregation and demanding basic human rights for African Americans and anyone who was a victim of injustice, he particularly practiced and preached non-violent and peaceful protests for anyone fighting for what is right.
