RYNJ teachers participated in an incredible day of collaboration, inspiration and education. Presenters and topics included Dr. Solar from Shefa, Ani Tefila—Stop Think and Feel, Successful Strategies for Small Groups with Lily Howard Scott, kriah workshops and lehavin ulehaskil training, Loving Baby Time originated by Dr. Becky Bailey for the ECD, and Sensory Processing and How it Relates to Behavior with Deena Morris. The entire faculty also had the privilege to hear from renowned teacher and storyteller Rabbi Paysach Krohn. Among the many valuable pearls of wisdom he shared, Rabbi Krohn reminded us to appreciate every child and to remember that each child has its own story. We must constantly recognize the individual child in and out of the classroom and to utilize the power that educators have to help children soar! Professional development days remind faculty that we are all students and there is so much more to learn.
