It’s about where you go! RYNJ welcomed prospective families to its virtual Open House this past Sunday! We started the day with a fun, engaging and informative car parade. Families arrived at RYNJ and were personally greeted by Head of School Rabbi Daniel Price and Director of Admissions Tamar Kahn. Parents received a useful car trunk organizer loaded with goodies that they would need for the virtual program later that day and the children received a clip board with a game board for them to follow as they made their way through the parade.
Families had the opportunity to speak with administrators, rebbeim, teachers, morot and the amazing eighth grade ambassadors, as well as, the devoted PTA presidents who shared the warmth of RYNJ. Later in the evening over 100 families logged on to participate in the virtual Open House. The program included a parents perspective, meaningful RYNJ stories presented by administrators, an art project, incredible classroom presentations and more. The classroom presentations highlighted how the curriculums chosen at RYNJ spiral through the grades but the goals remain the same and the mission remains constant. The mission and goal the staff have as educators is to involve students as active participants in their discovery of skills and knowledge, beginning from the most basic to the more complex. The night ended with the now famous and upbeat “Thank You Hashem” school wide video! To learn more about RYNJ visit www.RYNJ.org.
