SAR Academy welcomed students back to school from winter break and celebrated Shavua Ivrit, an SAR tradition of celebrating the Hebrew language and immersing students in a week full of activities presented and experienced in Ivrit. The celebration revolved around the birthday of Eliezer Ben Yehudah, the father of the modern Hebrew language, born on the 21st of Tevet. The building was filled with Hebrew signs, music and conversation. Activities ranged from cross-grade Ivrit learning to an SAR pop-up Israeli cafe. Thank you to the SAR Academy faculty and staff who worked tirelessly to make this inspiring week possible.
