SAR enjoyed a beautiful Chanukah at school with highlights including silent DJ dancing, a Chanukah chagiga and candle lighting with Benny Friedman. Sixth and seventh graders ice skated while eighth graders welcomed their extended family members for a very special in-person and virtual learning experience. Students had a great week of celebration, including glow in the dark “catch the pach shemen,” daily special Chanukah treats, Lego menorah building, a latke bake in the ELC and so much more! Students also enjoyed great Maccabiah fun, competing schoolwide in Chanukah related events.
