It was wonderful to welcome families to see SAR Academy first graders receive their first siddurim. The students’ preparation and dedication showed as they presented their Siddur Play through beautiful song and performance. The theme of the presentation was “ואני תפילה” (I am prayer) and in preparation for the play, each child wrote a word that they daven for. Each child created individual artwork based on their tefillah word and built a wall of tefillot on stage. It was heartwarming for families and teachers to hear the children share their own personal tefillot. Mazal tov the SAR Academy first grade on reaching this important milestone!
