Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

SAR defeated MTA 2-0 to stay undefeated. Ethan From, who recorded his third shutout of the season, was steady throughout. Adam Nayowitz’s snapshot in the first was all that SAR needed. Adam Freilich put the game away with an empty netter late in the third, and Josh Hyman recorded an assist in his first ever yeshiva league hockey game.

In a hard-fought affair, SAR overwhelmed JEC, winning by a score of 5-0. SAR controlled the game the whole way, but strong goaltending from JEC kept them in it. The game was scoreless after the first and remained as such until Alex Levy grabbed the lead in the second period. Levy netted the next one, and two tallies by Freilich and another by Josh Cohen accounted for the rest of the scoring. From recorded his third shutout in a row and fourth of the season. SAR is 9-0 and has all-important road matchups against Frisch and TABC next week as they vie for the top seed.
